Earnings Disclaimer — The UGC at Home Method

The short version: The UGC at Home Method is a low-cost guide that teaches a skill: filming short phone videos of products, the kind brands pay creators for and run as their own ads. It is not a business opportunity, and it comes with no promise of income. Most people who buy a how-to guide like this one earn little or no money from it. Pitching brands takes unpaid time, and some briefs pay only in free product. We don't provide clients, leads, job placement or brand contacts. No buyer has reported results to us yet. Any figure on our pages about what a video or a brief pays is either what one specific posted brief offered or a labelled example. It is never what you should expect to make.

1. Who this applies to

This Earnings Disclaimer covers ugcathome.com (the "Site"), every product sold on it, and all of our ads, emails and social media posts. Those products are The UGC at Home Method and its add-ons (the "Products"). The Site is run by [Legal entity: owner to supply] ("we," "us" or "our"). This disclaimer is part of our Terms of Service, and section 12 of those Terms says the same thing more briefly.

2. No promise of income

We make no promise, guarantee or representation that you will earn any money, or any particular amount, by buying or using the Products. We don't promise a reply from a brand, a deal, a client, a sale or a profit, or that you will earn back what you spend on the guide, on gear or on your time.

What happens depends on things we don't control and can't predict for any one person, including:

how much time you put in, and how steadily, including the unpaid hours spent pitching
your filming, editing and writing, and how comfortable you are on camera
the rates you ask for and what you spend on gear and tools
which brands post briefs, what they offer, and how many other creators apply
whether a brand replies or says yes, which is always the brand's decision
taxes, and for some readers, Social Security or other benefit rules
the time of year, the economy, and plain luck

3. Typical results

The guide is new. No buyer has reported results to us yet, and we don't collect income data from customers, so we can't tell you what a typical buyer earns. Many creators earn little or nothing. Many people who start never finish a first video, and many never get a paid deal. You should assume your results may be zero.

Pitching brands takes unpaid time before any paid work, if paid work comes at all. You may also spend money on gear before anyone pays you, and you may not get it back. Don't spend money you can't afford to lose.

4. Testimonials, stories and examples

Today our pages show no customer testimonials, because no buyer has shared results with us yet. If we add customer stories, or the founder's own story, please read them with these points in mind:

They are not typical. A story we show is one person's experience. It is not an average, and it does not predict your results.
They are self-reported. Any figure comes from what that person told us or showed us, and we will say whether we checked it. A figure shows money received over that person's own timeframe, before gear, fees, taxes and the value of their time.
No made-up people. We don't publish invented, composite or AI-generated testimonials, and we don't change what a reviewer wrote. Pictures of people and homes on the Site are AI-made illustrations, labelled as such, unless a photo is captioned as our founder, Anna Kelly. They never show a customer, a customer's work or a result.
Some people may receive something in return. If anyone we feature gets free products, payment or another benefit for what they say, we say so next to their words.

5. Brief rates, prices and calculations

Where our pages show what a posted brief offered per video, that is what one brief offered, on the date it was posted. Many briefs pay less, some pay only in product, and most will not fit you. Where we show example math, such as gear costs set against what one video might be priced at, it is labelled as an example. Our quiz shows no estimate of what you could make. These show the arithmetic. They are not estimates or projections of what you will earn, and many people will never be paid at those rates, or at all.

6. Forward-looking statements

Anything on the Site about what you "could," "can" or "will" do is a hope for the future, not a promise. It involves risks and uncertainties, and real results may be very different.

7. Teaching only, not professional advice

The Products teach a skill. They are not legal, tax, accounting, financial or benefits advice. The lessons on taxes, Social Security and other benefits explain general rules in plain words; check your own situation with a tax professional, the Social Security Administration or a benefits counselor before you invoice anyone. The agreement in the course and the templates in the Client Pack are starting points to have a lawyer check, not legal advice.

8. Your responsibility

By buying or using the Products, you accept that you are responsible for your own decisions and results, including which brands you pitch, what you agree to and what you film, and that we are not liable for any business or money decision you make based on our content. 9. Our refund policy

If the guide isn't right for you, our Refund Policy explains our 45-day guarantee and its conditions, starting with completing Module 1. That refund is the only guarantee we make. We don't guarantee income, replies or deals.
